LOSS

Buried secrets in my pillow
Kept on kissing me in the night
First look through my window
Saw a bird dazzling in delight

If i had held her strong,
  things would have been different,
   not wrong.

How long I looked is never known
We became  friends without any thorn
She was indeed a lover of freedom
I was more an introvert anthem

If i had held her strong,
     things would have been different,
     not wrong.

Her stories were trapped in commotion
Mine was rather equipped with emotion
Each morning was a bliss
Coz it gave us lot of Liss
Time flew by us so fast
As we could never count them back

If i had held her strong,
  things would have been different,
  not wrong.

Then one day you asked me out
I denied it in the very spot
Never did I felt, rendered a shock
Barely i knew  it made her choke
Morning was never the same again
Loss of my friend kept me in wane

If i had held her strong,                             things would have been different,               not wrong.
