Unrequited Friends

Friendly hand offered

Keeping that her choice

Long before did we met

Barely had noticed then

Be it an hour or two

Without much chaos it went through

Wholesome smile I liked to call

Which her face each day hold

When immersed in my job

She made sure to interrupt

One or two  rounds

Soon the last day ,the last time

The univited one waved a bye

We went on ,on separate paths

Even in the same world without

 An encounter.

Coloured it arrived , paled it went

Fully centred towards goal.

Sudden crumble

Sudden uneasiness

New normalcy crept in ,in every zone

Though time took much time to calm

World tuned in to tune in life.

Novus life as life forced

The day soon came to start it over

As I waited for my turn

There the rainbow showed up again

I pretended to not know

Though the masked half failed to hid

short was this too as,

 less thought went in too

Frequent encounters futile  attempts

All I ignored, my matured self.

'Mansil ' my only mate

Turning stoned the rest of my self

But....

Look now where have I reached

The same state the same stage

Which I never wanted to repeat .

I let it go and lend my hand

Did hold on or my thoughts deceived

Time would say or it wouldn't

Sure is me hurting inside

(Matured self speaks again)that friendly hand i gave

To hold on is her choice...
